Keith is an ecological restoration crew lead and environment field ecologist with expertise in botany, ecological restoration, natural plant communities of Wisconsin, geographic information systems (GIS), and forestry. Keith has been involved in the field of ecological restoration and conservation for over five years working as a field restoration ecologist and crew leader, field ecologist, ecology research assistant, and graduate scientific researcher. Since joining Heartland, Keith has led various field technicians in the successful completion of numerous ecological restoration projects in construction sites, managed crews in site preparation and invasive species management for wetland mitigation sites, written numerous wetland delineation and determination reports, provided technical report writing for wetland and waterway permit applications to the WDNR and USACE, and assisted in vegetation and hydrology surveys.
