Jared is a Restoration Specialist with experience in ecological restoration, aquatic habitat management, invasive species management, environmental monitoring, and natural resource fieldwork. Prior to joining Heartland, Jared worked with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, where he supported stream and habitat restoration projects, vegetation management, erosion control, streambank stabilization, habitat assessments, and ecological monitoring.

Jared earned a B.S. in Fish and Wildlife Ecology with a minor in Biology from Northland College. He brings extensive hands-on field and equipment experience, including crew leadership, chainsaw operation, UTVs, skid steers, track dumps, and other restoration equipment. Jared’s combination of ecological knowledge and practical field experience supports Heartland’s restoration and natural resource management projects throughout Wisconsin.
