Heartland Burns in the City of Fitchburg.

Today was a great burn day!

If you were out in the City of Fitchburg - Wisconsin, you may have seen a Heartland team performing a prescribed burn. We also had a team running a burn in the Village of Mount Pleasant!

At Heartland, our restoration leaders are committed to prescribed burn safety training, this involves our teams having a clear understanding of:

* Weather monitoring, and our go/no-go criteria
* Burn plan execution, staff roles, and the chain of command
* Equipment staging, communication protocols, and contingency planning

All of this in play, makes for a great burn day!
