We've wrapped up our plug planting season! Heartland Ecological Group, Inc. has planted over 40,000 wetland and prairie plants over the last month in various infiltration and bio basins. Staff will be watering the plants through the end of the growing season to help them get rooted in. Our restorations crews are transitioning now to invasive woody removals, native seeding, and anticipating the right conditions for prescribed burns.
