Congratulations to our FISTA Chainsaw Safety Level I & Level II graduates.
Heartland Ecological Group, Inc. partnered with FISTA (Forest Industry Safety & Training Alliance, Inc.) and ran two days of training for nine of our Restoration staff last week.
Safety instruction included understanding the saw, how to maintain it, proper PPE required, pre-operation checks, cutting techniques, hazard/emergency response, and of course, hands-on training.
